Parsonsfield Municipal Energy Plan

SMPDC is working with the Town of Parsonsfield and the Center for an Ecology Based Economy to develop a Municipal Energy Plan for Parsonsfield, funded by a Community Action Grant from the Community Resilience Partnership (CRP). The project is a response to needs identified through Parsonsfield's CRP enrollment process.

Key project components include:

1. Energy audit of municipal facilities

2. Evaluation of municipal properties for solar energy potential

3. Community engagement to gather input on next steps and share results of energy audit and solar energy evaluation

4. Development of final plan including the results of the energy audit and solar energy evaluation and recommendations for next steps

Time frame: July 2025 - June 2026
