Highway Corridor Priorities 3 & 4 Paving Program
Background
In October 2024, the KACTS Policy Committee approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between KACTS and MaineDOT. The MOU is intended to enhance cooperation, clarifying the responsibilities of each party and the process for jointly deciding FHWA and state-funded transportation investments in the KACTS region.
The Highway Corridor Priorities (HCP) 3 & 4 Paving Program is one of the new initiatives as part of this MOU. The program is administered by MaineDOT and KACTS. It is State funded and is directly dependent on the State budget.
