Public Involvement

The PIP outlines the strategies, approaches, and performance measures to be used to advance meaningful public involvement in KACTS’ regional transportation planning efforts.

 

Title VI Program

KACTS operates in accordance with various civil rights authorities, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Executive Order 13166, Executive Order 12898, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 

KACTS is committed to ensuring that the fundamental principles of equal opportunity are upheld in all decisions involving our employees and contractors/consultants, and to ensuring that the public-at-large is afforded access to our programs and services. To that end, no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any KACTS program or activity on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. 

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination based on race, color, national origin, limited English proficiency, sex, age, or disability has a right to file a complaint within 180 days of the alleged discrimination.
